Prosser’s Princess Theatre will present its second annual PB&J Christmas Celebration, featuring the PBJ Orchestra and other performers, on Friday and
Saturday, December 9 and 10 in The Green Room.


Led by Ben Macy, the orchestra will play Christmassy Broadway and jazz tunes,
and will accompany an array of vocalists. Doors for this family-friendly event will open at 7 PM the program will start at 7:30 and will include a short intermission between the two sets. The Princess will offer complimentary cocoa and coffee and, thanks to Prosser Memorial Health, free cookies made in the hospital’s kitchen. Other beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.


Tickets are available online until 5 PM the day of each show and at the door as space permits. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for youths, 18 and under.

 

Musicians will be Macy on keyboards, Don Kinney on drums, Jon Anderson on
bass, Aaron Cortez on guitar, Todd Crooks on trombone, John Nelson and Elizabeth Norris on trumpet, Megan Dunlap on horn, Jude Noah, Jeremy Erickson and Aurelia Carreon on violin, Dylan Bell on cello, Christian Sanchez on flute and Bailey Maya on reed. Singers and performers will include Candace Andrews, Gene Carbaugh, Eric Endres, Cliff Gamble, Teresa Palazzo, David Riddle, Bethany Riddle, Erickson and Macy.


Professional jazz musician Macy formed the PB&J Orchestra for the theatre’s
November 2021 mainstage production of All Together Now! Because of the tremendous audience response, Macy has brought the orchestra back together for other shows.
