About: Princess Spotlight Academy steps into the world of William Shakespeare—with a bold one and a half hour adaptation of The Most Excellent and Lamentable Tragedy of "Romeo and Juliet." Young performers will journey through the beauty and fire of Shakespeare’s language, discovering how timeless emotion lives within every line and where the echoes of the 1590s resonate with the rhythms and pulse of the present.

This will be an ensemble experience of high emotion, complicated and sometimes archaic language, sword fighting, and high drama around heavy subject matters. Participants will shape a Romeo and Juliet that feels uniquely their own as they dive into Shakespeare’s text and the script analysis necessary, discovering rhythm, emotion, and movement bringing words to life in fresh and surprising ways.

Tuition is $250 per student and includes a keepsake script, show t-shirt, and two free tickets to a performance.
