Princess Spotlight Academy offers opportunities for children and teens to perform in stage plays; we welcome students who are seasoned performers or who are stepping onto the stage for the first time.

The Crucible

REHEARSALS: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM and begin on Monday, January 5.

RESERVE AUDITION SLOT

The story centers on a young farmer, his wife, and a former servant who spitefully accuses the wife of practicing witchcraft. Hoping to reveal the truth, the farmer brings the girl before the court to confess her lie, but it’s there that the overwhelming power of fear, prejudice, and deception is starkly revealed. Instead of clearing his wife’s name, the farmer soon finds himself accused as well, ultimately facing the same tragic fate as many others swept up in the hysteria.

Eligibility to participate in this elite production is determined by auditions only.

If cast, registration is $125 per student, with full and partial scholarships available upon request. Discounted tuition for this production is made possible by a generous grant from the 3 Rivers Community Foundation.

PERFORMANCES: Friday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 PM, Saturday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 PM, and Sunday, Mar. 1 at 2:30 PM.
